A new chapter comes to an end with the end of 2025 for CIM and all its subsidiaries : LAF – Les Appareils Ferroviaires, SEG – Sogema Engineering, MECHAN Limited and RIC – Rail Industries Canada.
It has been a year rich in production and projects, to which all CIM Group employees have contributed greatly with their dynamism and sector expertise, always focused on the success of our clients’ projects around the world.
This is an opportunity to look back on the year and highlight the collective accomplishments of the CIM Group in a few key figures for 2025:

Industrial and technical expertise provided by CIM and made possible thanks to the collective strength of its subsidiaries SEG/MECHAN and our parent company John Cockerill to produce all the railway maintenance equipment for this project.
Our design office and project managers are working on providing technical documentation for all maintenance equipment supplied and delivered to the Villeneuve Demain construction site as a subcontractor to Eiffage Rail.
These documents demonstrate our ability to provide turnkey solutions and our technical expertise in integrating maintenance equipment into railway workshops and depots, both under construction and/or already in existence.

This is a historic record for LAF in 2025! LAF has delivered over 32,000 items (components or complete couplings) to nearly 80 customers worldwide. This impressive production and delivery capacity was made possible this year thanks to the efforts of our teams.
A very impressive order that demonstrates recognition of LAF’s expertise, particularly in Willison couplings. Thanks to their hybrid design, these couplings meet the European standards required by the customer and will enable the end operator to mix its fleet of new wagons with its existing fleet equipped with hooks and tensioners.
