Dakar TER : CIM participates in the French success

CIM, in partnership with NGE, TSO and the Senegalese company CDE, won one of the lots of the Regional Express Train (TER) project linking the city of Dakar to the new Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD).

This prestigious project for Senegal, is divided into two phases, firstly from Dakar to Diamniado and then from Diamniado to AIBD over a total period of more than 3 years.

The construction works of the M3 lot awarded to the consortium, involves repositioning and renewing the existing metre gauge track, whilst trains are operating, within 24 months to allow the TER line to be installed.
