Interoperability between Lines 1 and 2 of the Panama metro

The consortium, Grupo de Empresas (GdE), composed of CIM, TSO, Thales, Sofratesa, and Alstom has just achieved interoperability between lines 1 and 2 of the Panama metro after 5 months of successful tests and commissioning.

This interoperability allows the operator to dynamically adapt its train offer on each line and optimize the use of its maintenance equipment.

It will considerably improve urban mobility and the quality of life of 500,000 daily passengers in the difficult context of an area with high population density and road traffic.

The first two metro systems in Central America were delivered in record time of 39 and 43 months and CIM is proud to have contributed to the success of these 2 projects!
