PANAMA METRO – LINE 1 EXTENSION

CIM AND TSO HAVE WON THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TRACK AND CATENARY.

TCP RAIL INC, a joint venture owned by CIM and its partner TSO, has been awarded the contract for the construction of the Northern Extension of Line 1 of the Panama Metro, inaugurated in 2014.

This 2.2 km viaduct extension will complete the service by offering a new sustainable mobility solution that will benefit the 300,000 inhabitants of the northern outskirts of the city.

This new $13.9 million contract comes as teams finalize work on the extension of Line 2, which will link Tocumen International Airport to the center of the capital Panama.
